Rania Adwan - Director
Rania Adwan is an expert in international journalism, public relations and crisis management. She consults the U.A.E. government in the areas of public affairs, media relations, crisis management and critical infrastructure security. She is a Director at Good Harbor.
Before joining Good Harbor, Ms. Adwan was a Knight Fellow and visiting instructor at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism. She has written for the McClatchy Group as a correspondent in the Cairo Bureau. She has also reported from the Gulf States, North Africa, the Levant, the Palestinian Territories, Israel, Europe and the United States. Ms. Adwan has worked with Bob Schieffer, anchor of the CBS program Face the Nation, with the Japanese Asahi Newspapers and with KBIA, a National Public Radio affiliate.
At Georgetown University, Ms. Adwan was a research and teaching assistant to Douglas J. Feith, then a Professor and Distinguished Practitioner in National Security Policy at Georgetown University. She contributed research and editorial assistance to Mr. Feith's book, War and Decision: Inside the Pentagon at the Dawn of the War on Terrorism.
Ms. Adwan is pursuing a master's of science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and received B.A. in journalism from the University of Wales - Cardiff.
