Position Opening

Good Harbor is seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in public affairs / public relations for a government, military, or law enforcement agency and an interest in critical infrastructure protection and homeland security.

Public Affairs Expert

LOCATION
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

SALARY AND BENEFITS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BA in a related field, master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years related experience
  • Experience working in international setting; experience working in the Middle East preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as within a team of clients and consultants in a fast-paced environment at a client site
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment on multiple projects across functional areas
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communications (both written and oral) skills
  • Consulting experience preferred but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support and advisory services to a new government security agency’s public relations function
  • Advise and support the client on further developing the public affairs office’s policies and procedures
  • Support the client’s communication activities with the public, including the media, military services, government agencies, and the general public
  • Build public affairs / public relations capabilities within the client organization through programmed workshops and daily on-the-job interactions
  • Coordinate with Good Harbor project management and team members on a daily basis to coordinate team’s delivery of multiple advisory services to client
