Position Opening
Good Harbor is seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in maritime and seaport security and safety for a position in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The position will be responsible for advising a ministry level interagency committee on security, safety and marine and environmental issues, assisting with the development of a maritime strategic plan and on the integration of maritime security and safety agencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BA in a related field, master's degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in a related military, civilian, or commercial capacity
- Knowledge of ISPS Code and other international port security, safety and environmental standards
- Experience conducting port security risk assessments and marine environmental and safety audits
- Experience working in international setting; Middle East preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as within a team of clients and consultants in a fast-paced environment at a client site
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment on multiple projects across functional areas
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communications (both written and oral) skills
- Consulting experience preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise on national and emirate level maritime policy
- Assist with the development of a maritime strategy
- Advice on integration of maritime security agencies
- Assist in business development efforts in port security and management
- Coordinate with Good Harbor project management and team members on a daily basis to coordinate team’s delivery of multiple advisory services to client
